Concord & Charlotte Homeschoolers,
You are invited to take part in an ***amazing*** mission/service project on
Friday, February 24th,
from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
in neighboring Stanly County. Come & gather with other student volunteers from the area at Prospect Baptist Church in Albemarle
(502 Prospect Church Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001)
to pack meals for the hungry (to be distributed both locally & in Nicaragua).
Event organizers would like to have a total of 200 volunteers that day & hope to pack 50,000 meals. To learn more about this ministry, visit servantswithaheart.org.
Though this event is geared toward “students,” all ages are welcome to participate – parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, etc. (If younger ones get tired of packing, they can take a break & color the boxes the food is packed in - these boxes are sometimes used as walls in homes in Nicaragua).
