An Invitation from CHEA Singers homeschool choir program
Have you ever thought about having your children sing in a choir, or
wished there was some way they could learn how to use the only musical
instrument that goes everywhere they go – their singing voice?
Does the idea of your child joining with others to experience the joy of
making music together and sharing it with others appeal to you?
The *CHEA Singers Choir program* began 25 years ago with one small group of children from several homeschooling families who wanted their children to experience the benefits and joy of singing together. Over the years other families joined and new choirs were added. It grew into the current graded program, which now offers 5 choirs for ages 6 through high school. In the process thousands of children have passed through our program, taking with them singing skills (as well as many other life skills that are learned in the process) that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. *Your family is invited to explore joining with us in the joy of singing!
Registration is now open for the 2017-2018 season. *
All of our choirs meet at the same time on Tuesday afternoons in the
Matthews area. We are excited to welcome this year Dr. John E Haines as
director of our high school choir, the Carolina Youth Chorale. Lots of
exciting plans are in the works for all our choirs. More information and
applications are available at our choir webpage: www.cheaonline.com/choir.
