This is a stand-alone workshop using camera or phone. (A phone is just as good or better to use for this as a camera.) Ages 13 and up -- no exceptions. Cost is $4.
We will meet at Latta Plantation in Huntersville at the Cattail Trail, accessed by following Sample Road to the end. We will hike the short trail with our cameras or iPhones, after a brief "lesson" on what we'll be looking for! We will be using a book and photo cards written and created by Catherine Anderson, a local artist from whom I've taken a workshop and I greatly admire her work. We plan on setting up an FB page where the students may share their work.
This workshop is a prelude to more summer workshops, leading to a 6-week workshop in the fall when school starts. No experience needed. No commitment necessary. I am a mom of 4 in our 16th year of homeschooling.
