Dads & Kids Invited to Mini Golf at the Library
Dads and their kids can have a “hole” lot of fun celebrating Father’s Day by playing mini-golf at Patrick Beaver Library from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 17.
The FREE 9-hole mini-golf event is sponsored by The Friends of the Hickory Public Library. Along with golfing on the Putt-Putt course, participants will enjoy free refreshments, and prizes will be awarded for those lucky enough to make a hole-in-one. Kids will also be invited to craft a bookmark for dad.
This fun community day is intended to bring dads and their kids, along with granddads and their grandkids, to the library in order to raise awareness about the library and its wonderful resources. And, of course, to have fun! All ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Friends of the Hickory Public Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing non-budgeted items to enhance the library.
