  • School performances are for student groups of 20 or more.
  • Tickets for our 2017-2018 shows range from $9 to $10 per person, tax included.
  • Adults, including teachers, must purchase a ticket and be included in the total reservation.

Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, audiences won’t be able to help getting out of their seats to “Move It, Move It!”

CTC school shows

The Gastonia homeschool group - Sharing the Journey - has seats to four performances at Children's Theatre of Charlotte this school year. You must act now in order to reserve your family’s seats at half the cost of public ticket prices! Deadline to reserve and pay deposit is Wed., Sept. 6.

These school performances are top-notch and offered to students and chaperones at an inexpensive rate (tax already included). Our homeschool group may take advantage of these prices as long as we follow the school-group policies - basically arriving and being seated as a group. Also, we must purchase tickets as a group in advance. If we do not reach the minimum number needed to form a group, we will be forced to cancel.

Reservations: To reserve your family's seats for the plays of your choosing, 
please note that I must have your NAME, HOW MANY SEATS you need per show, and CONTACT INFO. in your RSVP, which must be emailed to me at lmansfield@carolina.rr.com no later than Wed. Sept. 6. Seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may simply indicate the show number (with above requested info.) in your email to save you time. 

Business note: Please, please be prompt in your payment. You must pay for them in advance by the deadlines posted. 

Payment: Payment due in full for Performance #1 (BCPE) by Wed., Sept 6; and we must pay a deposit to reserve others so we need half of your total due as deposit. This is also due by Wed., Sept. 6.

If you have any questions, please email, or you may phone/text me at 704.691.4000. *(I will be sending payment to CTC the following day so please be prompt in your payment.)

Other details: An email confirmation will be sent to you when RSVP request processed. You will also receive reminders for payment due date and balance. About one week from each performance, an email will arrive with parking info., driving directions and such. CTC is actually very easy to get to using I 85 North and Brookshire Freeway. This reminder email also includes a couple of options on parking that will cost between $3 and $6, depending which lot.

    Good afternoon Home School families,

    I am sending out this email with the various performances I have reserved tickets for at The Children's Theater of Charlotte for the 2017-18 season. The Children's Theater is located at 300 East 7th Street Charlotte, NC.

    I have listed the dates, times and cost of each ticket (including the tax) for each performance.

    I have reserved 20 - 25 tickets for each performance. It is first come, first served. If you are interested in any performance(s) please give me the following information:

    Your full name

    The name of the performance and number of tickets you want including yourself per performance.

    Once I have your information, you will be place on the list, but Your ticket will not be secured until I have received payment for your ticket(s). Full payment for tickets is September 15, 2017. Payments need to be made in full before a ticket(s) can be officially reserved.
