"Hi all I wanted to share a new 4-H club I am starting in Gaston County at the 4-H office in Dallas, NC. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at csvag@bellsouth.net
All ages are welcome. Primarily 4H is focused on ages 8-18 but younger children are welcome with an adult willing to stay.
We will be covering some of the NC 4-H photography curriculum Level 1.
Each month we will spend some time on using our cameras to complete different tasks, have an assignment to complete in between meetings, learning about scrap booking, creating your own scrapbook, a Gaston County scrapbook, competing in the 4-H Photography contest and more.
Some areas of photography that we will cover include:
- using your camera
- landscape and portrait photos
- tilting pictures
- scavenger hunts
- colors and patterns
- shadows
- photography contest
This club will meet the 4th Monday of the month from January-May from 4:30-6:00 pm.
