Volunteer Opportunity with Carolina Waterfowl Rescue! (Ages 16 and Up)

From Amy Rogers Salim of the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue:
"Anyone interested in feeding baby birds at Carolina Waterfowl Rescue? We desperately need volunteers! It’s very easy and rewarding! 
We are located in Indian trail.  We are open 7 days a week 8 am to 8 pm. We sign up for 3 hour shifts and you basically feed babies the whole time!  We also have opportunities in other parts of the rescue caring for geese, ducks and other assorted animals. We run solely on donations and volunteers. If you have any questions or would like to get started give me a call 704-340-1998!"
You can call the number above to arrange for training and then you can sign up for available shifts.  This opportunity is open to anyone 16 years or older.  Due to liability constraints, no one under the age of 16 can volunteer.  This is a great opportunity for service hours for teens!
