26th Annual Zoe Graduation Ceremony
We invite you to join our Zoe Graduation Ceremony. We are pleased to announce that the graduation meetings have begun for 2016-2017, but it’s not too late to join. We will hold monthly graduation meetings on the third Thursday evening of January, February, March and April in preparation for our Commencement Service in May.
Zoe is known for providing intimate graduations to the homeschool community since 1991. Our next graduation meeting will be on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at 12801 Bain School Road in Mint Hill. Look for balloons on a black fence and a ZOE sign at the entrance to the driveway. It’s a long gravel driveway. You will see a grassy area to the right and sheds to the left. Please park in the grassy area and then walk between the sheds. You’ll see the brick building where we meet behind the sheds.
At the initial meeting, parents were informed about the graduation day set-up, order of service, given an explanation of the budget and payments, and each parent was assigned a small job. There were also a couple decisions made. It is extremely important for at least one parent and their senior to attend every meeting as decisions for graduation day will be made at every monthly meeting.
At each meeting, seniors break away into their own group and will have their own meeting lead by a Senior Director. They also have decisions to make for their big day. The seniors also plan socials outside of the meetings to unite them as a graduating class so they can get to know one another better before the big day.
