FIRST Technical Challenge Robotics Team #6972 F.I.R.E. seeks enthusiastic team members for the 2017-18 FTC season. Guys and gals grades 10-12 are welcome to inquire! Check out the team blog
During this game and robot-build focused season, all team members will participate in:
- game strategy
- robot design ·prototyping
- building of robot & subsystems
- programming
- testing
- tournament play
Particulars of Team Membership:
- Cost: $375 (covers FIRST team registration fee, tournament registration fees, game components, robot parts)
- Meeting Location: South Charlotte/ near Carolina Place Mall
- Training Available: Programming Basics of Building &Mechanics
Opportunities to Gather:
- 2-3 hours once per week Sept/ Oct/
- 4-5 hours per week late Nov/ Dec/ Early Jan

Tournaments:
- 2 Qualifying Tournaments in January
- State Tournament in February if team progresses
