THE CHARLOTTE MUSEUM OF HISTORY SPRING HOMESCHOOL DAY
Building on the seasonal theme of our fall homeschool day, this program will look at spring in the colonies through the eyes of the native populations and the colonists. Students will be encouraged to think critically about the differences between their world and that of 1774 as well as trace the threads of similar experiences from the colonial period to the present. Join us to learn about technology, medicine, spring renewal, and the wonderful world of spring. If you are feeling particularly brave, be sure to pay a visit to the CMH leeches!
Upon arrival, each participant will receive a scavenger hunt with clues to help them locate each of the different learning experiences. Students are welcome to move through at their own pace to maximize hands-on experience!
